Low-Light Plants
Many rooms receive only modest, indirect light, yet plenty of plants are perfectly happy there. Low-light plants tolerate shadier spots without becoming weak or leggy.
- Best choices: Snake plant, pothos, and ZZ plant cope well with limited light.
- Care: Water sparingly, since low light means slower drying and less moisture use.
- Placement: North-facing rooms, hallways, and interior corners away from direct sun.
Even low-light plants need some natural light. A spot that is too dark to read comfortably is usually too dark for healthy growth.
